Duffel Bags for the New Season

If we were to splurge on just one item in our wardrobe, it would have to be a good everyday bag.  A beautiful jacket is nice, a great dress divine.  But you don't get nearly the mileage out of either than you get out of a well-made handbag.  The shape to which we are most drawn at the moment is the duffel (or duffle).  And no matter which way you spell it, we think it's going to be one of the top shapes of the season.  

While we still love some of the oversized and exaggerated shapes of the past couple of seasons, we find that what we're craving right now is a little more compact but just as functional since we still need room to carry all that we need to get through the day.
